Sierra Simpson, PhD is lead Sr. Data Analytics Advisor for Verséa Discovery, the creators of mescreen™. She is currently the Associate director for Perioperative Informatics in the Department of Anesthesia at the University of California, San Diego specializing in the analysis of large clinical and pre-clinical datasets, ML/AI approaches to electronic medical record data, and multi-omic analysis. She founded a precision medicine microbiome company, BrilliantBiome, which works with both the public and academic sectors to uncover novel therapeutics related to the microbiome for the treatment of a variety of diseases using the computational pipelines that she developed and refined during her PhD/Post-Doc.
